With 42 years of experience in childcare and 27 years at MMP School, Ms. Malinda holds the distinction of having the longest tenure. She has served as an Assistant Teacher, a lead Montessori Toddler Teacher, an Assistant Director, and a Cook. Malinda shares with the community a lifetime of dedication and passion to early childhood education and a willingness to serve in any capacity. Montessori-certified and RIE and Pikler trained, Malinda’s approach is guided by respect, observation, and a deep understanding of each child’s unique needs.

Malinda’s journey into education was inspired by her love for children and the joy of witnessing their growth and discovery. A pivotal moment early in her career reaffirmed her calling when a parent expressed gratitude for the care and comfort she provided during a challenging time. This heartfelt connection continues to motivate Malinda to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families. She deeply values the close-knit community she helped create where teachers and families form lasting bonds. 

To stay inspired, Malinda continues learning through classes, books, and peer collaboration. She hopes her children and parents graduate from MMP School with confidence, a love for learning, and memories of daily adventures with friends and teachers. She offers this sage advice to parents: “Don’t compare your child to others. Each child is an individual and will achieve milestones in their own time.”
